Look, it's been confirmed that the Norn hero will have Shapeshift.

Why wouldn't the Asura hero have something unique as well?

If that sounds like the same Heros in Nightfall, you've been playing a different game than me.

Only difference will he appearance.

We wont see any differences as far as AI or behaviour due to race until GW2 I expect.

I'm still hoping to see a Charr hero, since it's likely the Charr are going to break down into civil war, it would make sense if one of them joined us. The whole Charr story really reminds me of Halo actually. They could make the opening cut-scene almost exactly the same, and it would still make sense in the GW context.

they're the same. heroes are heroes. these heroes in gwen are for ppl who didnt get NF but had previous chapters. they wont be any different, they'll only look different.

i read somewhere that they were considering giving the asur the skill "golem" some sort of stone defender i expect.
i think it would be a bad idea to make race a form of profession or an equally bad idea to make asura only spellcasters and norn fighters, it would ruin the game before it started and many of the storey lines in guild wars are based around defending deversity.

Guildwars 2 is supposed to be a completly new game. It still be called guildwars but isn't the whole point to a sequel to build the vision with new technology Anet originally had for GW1 before it got nerfed to hell.

Who knows what they have planned with the new class systems.
